Do you have an order minimum for installations?
Yes! Sophisticated Balloon & Events, LLC has an order minimum of $300 for delivery & installation orders. Anything less can be made fully constructed and available for pickup
If your order has met the required minimum of $300, it would be our pleasure to deliver and install our creation for you! Delivery times are scheduled based on your event start time and venue availability.
Sophisitcated Balloon & Events, LLC custom balloon décor pricing varies based on the type of design, complexity, length, volume, & delivery & installation costs. All of Sophisticated Balloon's garlands are priced per foot (not liner feet) so, having measurements of the space where you would like your balloons to go will help give you a general idea of cost.
Delivery Fee:
Sophisticated Balloon & Events, LLC calculate delivery & installation fees on top of your order. The delivery fee is calculated based on the distance from the zip code 63031 to your event location.
Installation Fee:
Our installation fee is 15% of your order subtotal.
Funny you ask! We have been toying with the idea of offering DIY kits, but do not currently offer them. If a DIY kit is something that may interest you in the future, let us know. In the meantime, for locals, we recommend our Grab & Go Garlands!
Our Grab & Go Garlands are the perfect budget-friendly alternative that still packs a big POP! Grab & Go garlands are made fully constructed by us and then are picked up, hung, and styled by you. Easy to follow hanging instructions for any type of hanging needs and hanging materials included.
Grab & Go Garlands are available for pick up at our Main Office in florissant.
Pickup windows are:
Monday - Friday (10 am - 12pm or 3pm - 6 PM).
We only use the professional quality balloons so, if you have to pick up your garland within days of your indoor event date, You'll be Fine!
Since balloons for your balloon garland will be air-filled, they can actually last 5-7 days (out of direct sun and heat!) We usually recommend setting up the garland 1-2 days before the event.
Sophisticated Balloon & Events, LLC Only use the highest quality balloons & materials, however, some may pop or deflate sooner than anticipated. We cannot guarantee your balloons will last once they have been delivered or picked up. Environmental factors, including weather, children, pets, different surfaces, hot or cluttered car conditions, & foliage can jeopardize the lifespan of our creations. We will replace anything we pop in transportation or during setup.
That being said, indoor balloon garlands could last up to a month or more (no guarantees) if kept away from direct heat, direct a/c & sunlight.
Custom Décor Design & Installation
Our custom balloon and event décor requires substantial time for design consultation, material sourcing, and on-site installation. To ensure availability and secure your preferred date, we strongly recommend booking at least 2 months in advance.
Date Reservation with Retainer
If you have confirmed your event date and venue but have not yet finalized your décor concept, you may reserve your date with a retainer of 50% of the estimated quote or $200, whichever is greater. This secures your booking while you refine your design details with our team.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
Full payment is due 30 days prior to your event date. Please note that once a retainer has been paid, cancellations are not refunded. However, you are welcome to reschedule your event to an alternative date if the date you're wanting is available. We will make every effort to accomodate you.
We will certainly try our best! Last-minute orders are only accepted based on our availability and may be limited to only the balloons we have in stock. The order total for last-minute bookings will be due upfront and may be subject to a rush booking fee.
The time it takes to install our balloon décor varies and is based on the scale of the design. All of our inflating is done ahead of time so that we can try to keep it to under an hour whenever possible.
We only work with the highest quality latex and foil mylar balloons on the market! Our natural rubber latex balloons are 100% biodegradable. We also advocate smart balloon practices;
keep balloons secure and weighted,
do not release in the air,
and properly dispose of balloons once they are popped or deflated.
We always look first to existing anchor points when hanging our garlands. In the case that no existing anchors are present, we use removable 3M command hooks. Hanging your Grab & Go Garland instructional video. We also offer free-standing backdrop frames to enhance any design and also eliminate the need to attach anything to a wall. These are available with Custom Installation orders and require a $50 security deposit. We’ll pick them up within 1-3 days of your event.
For Custom Installation Orders:
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, you must do so at least one week prior to your event date and I would be happy to apply your Retainer to a future booking within 12 months. Cancellations or reschedulings, less than one week from your event are no longer eligible to be rescheduled. Any other deposits made toward your event will be refunded only if your event is cancelled following our policy.
Retainers are non-refundable.
Grab & Go Orders:
If you need to reschedule your booking, you must do so at least 3 days prior to your pickup date. Cancellations less than 3 days from your pick up date are no longer eligible to be rescheduled.
